Titre : Existence and Stability of hybrid dynamical systems with time delays.

Résumé : Hybrid dynamical systems have attracted the attention of many researchers in recent years. Such systems are capable of exhibiting simultaneously continuous-time dynamics and discrete-time dynamics, and jump phenomena. They provide a natural framework for mathematical modeling of complex reactive systems in which physical processes interact with man-made automated environments. This talk will introduce via a number of examples the concept of hybrid dynamical systems and then discuss some recent results on existence and stability of hybrid dynamical systems with time delays. This talk is directed to a general audience.
