Abstract

In this short talk we'll describe a time-series analysis of a longitudinal data-set from a cohort of dolphins collected by the US navy over several decades. By modeling the dynamics of the measured biomarkers as a simple stochastic differential equation we can estimate the influence that the biomarkers might have on one another. With this simple model we are able to find evidence of several significant interactions between these biomarkers, some of which may play a role in the aging of these long-lived mammals.
