POSTER will be here later

The Conference PhysCon2013 will focus on the borderland between Physics and Control with emphasis on both theory and applications. Topics will include many topics among them, Nonlinear dynamics, Mathematics, Dynamics and control of complex networks, Self-organization and complexity, Engineering methods and applied fields ... See the web-site of PhysCon-2013

You are cordially invited to submit a paper to our CCSNSO'13 Invited Session within this conference.

Description of the special session

Our special session CCSNSO'13 relies precisely on the topics listed above, and aims the study and the control of complex systems, mainly those mathematically represented by complex networks. The meeting is concerned with multidisciplinary approaches aimed at exploring, visualizing, modeling and simulating large scale dynamic networks, in order to detect and control their emergent communities, to analyse self-organizing processes, such as synchronization and to characterize their evolution.

Complex systems are composed of interacting entities. These entities may be organized structurally as networks, and can give rise to new emergent properties due to interactions. The structural organization and its topology can also be the result of the emergent properties. In both cases, self-organizations of entities and their structural or emergent support (network) is one of the main issue of the complexity of these systems. Our special session proposes to focus on the modeling of these complex phenomena and to understand how to control complexity while preserving their native and therefore self-organization that results.

The expected submissions can cover two approaches : the first one is an adaptation of the control theory for complex dynamical systems and the second ones concerns heuristics dealing with modeling control over behavioral systems. Two examples of such problems could be the synchronization of complex networks and the modeling of crowd behavior ...
