    The primary goal of ISCN (the research Institute of Complex Systems of Normandie), situated at University of Le Havre (Normandie, France), is to foster research activity that highlights scientific computation as a complementary avenue to theory and experiment.  More about ISCN can be found at http://isc-n.fr/
    The selected candidate will develop his/her research activities in the field of complex systems and networks of PDE, from both point of view : numerical and theoretical. This post-doc position is a pluridisciplinary MATHEMATICS transversal work concerning different areas such as :
    • complex networks
    • partial differentioal equations (PDE ...)
    • dynamical processes on complex networks (dynamical graphs, ...)
    • nonlinear dynamical systems
    • computational mathematics
    • applied mathematics (Neuroscience, Ecosystems, ...)

    Eligibility:
    - Have a French doctorate (PhD) or an equivalent international degree
    - at least good knowledge in PDE, numerical and theoretical
    - one year (or more) academic research experience will be appreciated
    - no nationality condition

    Result :
    The (scientific) selection process for this position has been completed. Among the many applications received, only two correspond to the required profile. Dr Yichao Zhao was ranked first, Dr. Lin Pan in second position. The offer is made according to the ranking. The confirmation of this ranking by funders (Région Haute Normandy), without whom we can do nothing, has been done! This Committee funders look essentially the eligibility condition!

    Eligibility:
    - Have a French master-2 or a doctorate (in applied math), or an equivalent international degree
    - The candidate must demonstrate a strong foundation in CONTINUATION and BIFURCATION Software for PDE, ODE or DelayDE
    - or theoretical analysis of Complex Systems & Complex Networks, nolinear dynamics and asymptotic analysis of coupled PDE with applications to Biology or ecology.
